European Brides

The vast majority of the women whose profiles we review in this section come from the states that were a part of the old Communist Bloc before the fall of the Soviet Union.  Ironically, during the Soviet-era Eastern European women were widely viewed in the west as plain peasant women, heavy and bowed from hard labor, a ferocious climate, and a dictatorial government. Maybe, it was all CIA propaganda, because there was certainly evidence that the myth was untrue from beautiful Russian ballerinas and a whole slew of hot Olympic athletes to the occasional spy scandal featuring super sexy KGB agents, but western men largely bought the myth until the fall of the USSR.

Then it was obvious that millions of really sexy women had been hidden away behind the Iron Curtin, a lost treasure of exotic Russian models, sexy Ukrainian bikini babes, and beautiful Belarusian babes with legendary legs.  Many of these women quickly signed up with internet mail order bride companies and the modern mail order bride business really started in Russia in the mid-1990s.

In the early years of the European Brides boom the women were largely signing up to escape the economic collapse that followed the fall of communism, but today economics is no longer as important for Eastern European mail order brides.  The economies of the old Soviet Bloc countries have improved dramatically, not all have become economic powerhouses, but they have all shown steady growth.  However, this growth has barely changed the desire of Eastern European women to seek western husbands.

Obviously, exotic Russian models or Ukraine bikini babes are great, but there are beautiful women all over the world.  What really separates European Brides from their counterparts in other parts of the world is how well educated, talented, and truly extraordinary they are.  It is not unusual to find sexy lawyers, hot doctors, and beautiful scientist among the Eastern European mail order brides signed up on international dating agencies.  These beautiful talented women could easily marry a man from their home country, but they don’t want to.
