Introduction Agencies ONLY provide profiles and they make no claim at all about the validity of the information the women have provided. These are unscreened profiles. Women submit their profiles online and no attempt is ever made to verify their validity.
There is NO GUARANTEE that the photos actually depict the person that posted the profile. Therefore you must be much more aware of the threat from Scammers. Most of the profiles are legit, but be especially wary of quick expressions of undying love and requests for money. In fact, NEVER send money.
International Introduction Agencies work on the same model as big domestic dating sites like Match.com and Chemistry.com - which also make no efforts to guarantee the validity of their profiles. The advantages of introduction agencies are that the offer tons of profiles, they tend to be cheaper than full service agencies, and after the first email you are communicating DIRECTLY with the person who posted the profile. That is important for a lot of guys, because it gives you much more privacy.
