Ukrainian Brides are Hot!

The Ukraine was at the heart of the largest and most powerful state in Europe, Kyivan Rus, during the 10th and 11th centuries.  However, for most of the thousand years or so since then the Ukraine has been under Russian control.

Really, this is a little misleading.  In fact, so many famous Russians were actually Ukrainian that it might be fair to say that the Ukrainians were largely a sort of Russian until the abuses under Stalin reignited Ukrainian national identity.  For instance,Nikolai Gogol, the first great Russian novelist;  Leon Trotsky, the Bolshevik leader; Marshall Timoshenko, one of a slew of high ranking Soviet generals; and both Khrushchev and Brezhnev were all Ukrainian or at least claimed today as Ukrainian; so sometimes the Ukrainians were clearly in charge of the Russians.

And the competition between Ukraine and Russian even carries over to the international dating industry.  Ukrainian women often make an effort to differentiate themselves from their Russian sisters, but often when a guy searches for "beautiful Russian women" or "young Russian models" the search results he looks at are actually beautiful Ukrainian brides.

Ukrainian dating agencies muddy the water a good bit on this issue, because Russia is a more widely known country around the world and gets more internet searches so they optimize their sites for the term Russian dating - not Ukrainian dating.

Culturally, the Ukraine and Russia are virtually indistinguishable to foreigners, so Ukraine dating is essentially the same as in Russia. However, Ukrainian women are not as ethnically diverse as Russian women. Ukrainian women tend to be tall and they are often blonds. There are some Ukrainian women who clearly have Turkish heritage, but that is more unusual.

Ukraine Girls

One factor that often is often overlooked in the West is that many Ukrainian women are natural born bikini babes. Much of the Ukrainian borders the Black Sea. The Crimean Peninsula was the summer vacation home for Soviet commissars and Imperial Russian princes, so many Ukrainian women grow up spending a lot of time on the beach just like California girls or Australian babes.

This beach culture keeps Ukraine girls focused on staying in tip-top bikini shape all through the winter and, as you can see from our Galleries, these Ukrainian women are very focused.  One thing that most men notice about Ukrainian brides is just how many are in great physical shape.  This is true across the states of the former Soviet Union, but the Ukrainian girls seem to take fitness to an extreme, a good extreme, but an extreme none the less.

Lots of girls on any decent Ukrainian dating site have toned abs and mention the gym or fitness in their profiles. Praise the Lord!
